About the Competition

 

The main idea of Yilan Chair Design Competition is the policy of ‘Green Culture Creativity・Forest Aesthetics’ and the hospitable habit of Yilan resident. The design idea should start from the land of Yilan and end up with a comfortable children chair.

About theme

 

This year, we will go on the Children’s Chair as the theme, taking the simple children’s chair as a dreamland to carry on the creativity and imagination. No matter constructed by wood, bamboo or rattan should take security into account, as well as the freedom from care.

How to enter?

 

People who are interested in design are welcome to enroll. There is no restriction of age, occupation, place of residence, and nationality. Applicants can be individual or group.

The amount each participant/team can submit is unlimited. The design focuses mainly on single chair type.
